Stay 2 Nights: Aachen House (breakfast included)   Day 2 - Auckland Tour Join a small-group tour, today, for a grand overview of Auckland's highlights.  Late this afternoon, spend some time shopping for souvenirs and enjoy dinner at one of Auckland's trendy restaurants.   Day 3 - Auckland to Rotorua Travel to Rotorua - home to the North Island's famous hot springs.  Consider attending a traditional Maori feast this evening. Stay 2 Nights: Kawaha Point Lodge (breakfast included) *Another popular option is to travel to Lake Taupo, instead, and stay at one of the famous luxury lodges.   Day 4 - Rotorua Tour Join another small-group to tour the magical Rotorua area.  Enjoy the views of the lake as you lunch at Landing Restaurant.  The rest of the day is at your leisure.   Day 5 - Rotorua to Napier Today, journey to New Zealand art deco capital: Napier.  Along your drive, stop by some of Hawkes Bay's famous wineries for tours, tastings, and a late lunch or early dinner.  This evening, be sure to set aside time to do a walking tour through the city's fabulous architecture. Stay: Mon Logis (breakfast included)   Day 6 - Napier to Queenstown Fly from Napier to Queenstown, on the South Island (airfare not included).  Once you arrive and stop off at your hotel, you have the day for leisure activities as you wish.  From hot air ballooning, skiing and snowboarding (season permitting), jet boating to world-famous spas, Queenstown has an activity to suit everyone's fancy. Stay 3 Nights: Browns Boutique (breakfast included)   Day 7 - Queenstown at Leisure Continue to explore Queenstown.  Or, take a day trip to some of the surrounding vineyards.  Enjoy dinner a one of the city's excellent restaurants - and don't forget to get a bottle of a local Pinot Noir!   Day 8 - Milford Sound Tour Journey past Lake Wakatipu to Te Anau, from where you will enter the Fiordland National Park.  Spend the day on the Milford Sound Red Boat Cruise, exploring the breathtaking fiord.   Day 9 - Queenstown to Fox Glacier View the West Coast of New Zealand as you travel through the Haast Pass to Fox Glacier, at the western foot of Mt. Cook.  Stay 2 Nights: Wapiti Park Homestead (breakfast included)   Day 10 - Fox Glacier Tour Enjoy Fox Glacier at leisure.  Walk the glacier valley or take a helicopter up for truly amazing views.   Day 11 - TranzAlpine Train Journey to Greymouth where you will catch the TranzAlpine scenic train, traveling across the Southern Alps and Canterbury Plains, ending the day in Christchurch.
